Jackson, Miss. - The Hendrix Warriors defeated Millsaps 75-67 on Sunday afternoon at the Hangar Dome.

After a back-and-forth first half where Hendrix edged the home side 33-32, the Warriors created enough separation down the stretch to clinch the win and split the season series with the Majors.

Tyler Deithloff led all scorers with 21 points. Darvis Rasberry, Jr. and Jonathan Ryan each finished in double-figures with 14 and 12, respectively.

Hendrix was lights out from deep in the first half, knocking down 6-of-14 (42.86%) of their attempts from behind the arc in the first half.

Free throws were the story of the second half as the Warriors went to the line 21 times and were good on 16 of those attempts. They finished the afternoon 21-26 (80.8%) from the stripe.

Hendrix got 16 points from its bench, registered 14 points in the paint, and collected 33 boards to Millsaps' 29. As a team, the Warriors shot a 40.7% from the field.

The win improves Hendrix to 6-18 (3-10 SAA). They will face Rhodes on Wednesday night in Memphis for a de facto playoff match for the 7th seed in next week's Southern Athletic Association (SAA) conference tournament.
