Memphis, Tenn. - The Hendrix Warriors dropped their regular season finale 78-49 to Rhodes on Wednesday night at Mallory Gymnasium.
Hendrix was just 1-of-10 from behind the arc in the first half and struggled to keep up with a Rhodes side that shot 8-of-20 from deep in the same period. The home side was also 16-of-32 from the field in the opening half was just 33.3% from the field.
It would go no better for the Warriors in the second half as their shooting slumped to 25% from the both the field and from deep.
Tyler Deithloff led the Warriors with 19 points and 8 rebounds after putting up 21 in his long-awaited return last Sunday in Hendrix's win over Millsaps.
Jonathan Ryan finished the evening with 13 points, his fifth-consecutive game in double-figures.
The loss drops Hendrix to 6-19 (3-11 SAA). They will enter the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) tournament as the 8th seed and will face the #1 overall seed Berry next Sunday at the Cage Center to tip off postseason play.
