Danville, Ky. - Day One of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships began on Friday hosted by Centre at the Lisa H. Owens Track at Champions Hall.
Ethan Armour broke his own school record in the indoor 60m hurdles after recording a 8.49 time in the prelims. The previous record held by Armour was set back on Feb. 17, 2023 with a time of 8.64. Armour also finished fourth in the men's high jump (1.82m).
Hayden Rodriguez qualified for the finals in the men's weight throw and finished eigth with a throw of 12.25m.
On the women's side,
Ember Hughes finished sixth in the high jump (1.52m)
Day Two of the Championships will begin tomorrow with the men's triple jump, men's shot put, and women's pole vault.
