Conway, Ark.- In their last contest at Grove Gymnasium for the season, the Warriors played host to the Berry Vikings this afternoon, falling to the Vikings by a final score of 63-53. 

Hendrix honored it's lone Senior Maddie Pardeck, hoping to end the weekend winning their final home contests. 

The first quarter was a quarter of runs, as both teams would take turns getting hot from the floor, with Berry leading by as much as 7 at the 6:00 minute mark of the first. The Warriors would then go on a run of their own to tie the ballgame with less than 4 minutes to go. The two teams would end the quarter tied 14-14.

Berry would jump out ahead in the second quarter, leading by as much as 11 late into the half. A jumper by Megan Gray would cut the lead to 9 going into halftime. 

Coming out of the half, the Warriors would work their way back, tying the game at the 4:39 mark in the 3rd. The two teams continued to trade buckets throughout the contest, but Berry would take the lead ending the quarter by a score of 47-40. 

The Warriors would continue to fight and claw to stay in the game, but Berry would answer the call anytime the Warriors came close, leading by as much as 14 in the 4th to close out the game winning by a score of 63-53. 

The Warriors shot 41% from the field, but struggled from 3 shooting 16%. The Warriors shot 89% from the free throw line. 

Bella Cates & Riley Brady led the Warriors in scoring with 13 apiece. Brady also led the Warriors in the rebounding column. Ava Knoedl added 8 points & Brailey Forst added 7 rebounds. 

The loss drops the Warriors to 3-19 (1-10 SAA). Hendrix will travel to Birmingham to take on the Birmingham-Southern Panthers Friday night.
