Birmingham, Ala. - The Hendrix Warriors defeated Birmingham-Southern (BSC) 75-61 in Bill Battle Coliseum on Friday evening to pick up their second win of 2024 in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).

This was the return fixture of their matchup on Jan. 12 when BSC defeated the Warriors in Conway.

Megan Gray led Hendrix with a career-high 18 points after shooting a staggering 6-of-7 from behind the arc.

Riley Brady grabbed 19 boards to tie a career-high on the glass en route to yet another double-double with 13 points. This was the third time this season that the freshman has grabbed 19 boards, which ranks tied for 8th in program history for rebounds in a single game.

Ava Knoedl finished the evening in double-figures as well with 12 points.

After being all knotted up at 15-15, Hendrix closed the first quarter with a 6-0 run and take a lead that they would not relinquish for the rest of the evening.

The win improves the Warriors to 4-19 (2-10 SAA), and they will now head west to Jackson, Miss. to take on the Millsaps Majors. Tip-off from the Hangar Dome is set for 1:00 PM.
