Birmingham, Ala. - The Hendrix Warriors lost 79-58 to Birmingham-Southern (BSC) on Friday night at Bill Battle Coliseum.
Hendrix raced out of the gates to net 11 of the game's first 15 points but could not continue that momentum as the home side roared back to take a 13 point lead into halftime. That would be the closest the Warriors got to BSC for the rest of the evening.
Jonathan Ryan led all scorers with 19 points.
Darvis Rasberry, Jr. finished the evening with 12 points after netting a career-high 23 points versus league-leading Berry last Sunday in Conway.
Hendrix shot 36.2% from the field and a measly 25% from behind the arc.
The loss drops the Warriors to 5-18 (2-10 SAA), and they will now head west to Jackson, Miss to take on the Millsaps Majors. Tip-off from the Hangar Dome is set for 3:00 PM.
