Conway, Ark. - After going 0-1-1 on the road to start the 2024 regular season, Hendrix returned home to host Lyon on Friday evening at Warrior Soccer Field.

The intrastate foes played to a 0-0 deadlock in the opening 45 minutes with 9 shots between the two sides.

Lyon opened the scoring in the 65th minute off a set piece, which made for a cagey last 25 minutes as Hendrix searched for an equalizer. The Warriors had several good looks on goal, but were unable to level the scoring as time waned down.

Over the course of 90 minutes, Hendrix generated a handful great chances, putting 8 shots on goal to Lyon's 5. James Leone recorded 4 saves in goal for the Orange and Black.

Hendrix is back in action on Sunday evening as they host another intrastate foe, the Ozarks Eagles, for a 7:00 PM start at Warrior Soccer Field.
