CONWAY - Hendrix fell 78-59 to Millsaps on Tuesday afternoon in a battle of two 2-12 teams.
The Warriors went back-and-forth with the Majors in the opening 20 minutes and went into the halftime interval trailing 35-34.
Jaxon Herrera's triple early in the second half tied the game at 37-37, and was good again from behind the arc a couple minutes later to make it 44-40 after the Majors scored 7 unanswered. The two teams traded buckets in the middle stages of the half, with
Carson Bower's two foul shots bringing the Warriors to within 4 with 8:02 left.
With the score at 57-53, Millsaps went on another 7-0 scoring run to take their first double-digit lead of the game. From there, the Majors would dominate down the stretch and prove to be too much for the Warriors en route to a 19-point victory.
Herrera led the Warriors with 17 points and knocked down a career-high 5 three-pointers.
Hendrix shot 28.6% from the field and 25.0% from behind the arc.
The Warriors (2-13, 0-2 SAA) will now hit the road for their first conference road trip of the season as they take on Centre and Sewanee this weekend.
