Conway, Ark. - Hendrix defeated LeTourneau 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to clinch a spot in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament in a couple weeks.

Josh Montgomery gave Hendrix the lead inside 15 minutes, and Joseph Avila's late winner wrapped up the three points and ensured that Hendrix would finish in the top six of the SCAC standings.

LeTourneau outshot Hendrix 15-8 over the 90 minutes, with Gregorio Medina Armas forced into 8 saves on the day.

Avila assisted Montgomery's opener to give the sophomore forward eight goals on the year, while Avila's winner was his first goal of the season.

Hendrix will remain in Conway to wrap up the 2025 regular season on Saturday as they host Ozarks on Senior Day at Warrior Soccer Field.
