Suwanee, Ga. - Mason Johnson has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference defensive player of the week.

Johnson was a defensive force in the Warriors' 38-21 win over Lyon on Saturday. Johnson spent most of the afternoon in the Scots' backfield, racking up 8 tackles, including four solo tackles, and recording two sacks. The junior also tallied 3.5 tackles-for-loss for a total loss of 18 yards.

Johnson and the Warriors will wrap up the 2025 home slate on Saturday as they host Centenary for a 6:00 PM kick at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.
