Sewanee, Tenn. - The Hendrix men's track and field program kicked off the 2025 Southern Athletic Association track and field championships on Friday in Sewanee and saw a couple notable performances on the track.
Westin Bruce qualified for the finals in the men's 100m by winning his heat. Bruce then qualified for the men's 200m finals on Saturday by finishing second in his heat.
Thomas Spradlin finished fourth in his heat of the men's 400m hurdles, meaning the freshman qualifies as a finalist in tomorrow's final. Spradlin will also compete in the men's 110 hurdles final tomorrow afternoon.
