Kennett, MO (Sept. 16th, 2025) - The ladies of the Warrior Golf program made the three hour trip up north to compete in the WBU Fall Invitational hosted by Williams Baptist in Kennett, MO.
The ladies had a historic tournament with them finishing 2nd of 4 with a total team score of 697 (program record), with all four ladies finishing in the Top 15 (also a program record). After the first day, all four ladies were placed in the Top 5, a program best after one round. This is the second 2nd place finish for the ladies under Coach Jeff Price during his short tenure.
Amber Alsup had a career day, finishing 3rd (her second career Top 5 finish) with a total score of 162 (85 & 77) shooting a career best +5 on the last day. 77 ties the program record for lowest round score set by Stephanie Leake.
Berkley Reed had a solid outing, finishing 7th with a total score of 175 (89 & 86). Isabella Rodriguez finished T9th with a total score of 178 (89 & 89). Ava Martinez finished 11th with a total score of 182 (89 & 93).
Next up for the Warriors:
The men of the Warrior Golf program will hit the road to Robinsville, Miss. on Sept. 21st-22nd to compete in the Rhodes Fall Invitational hosted at the Tunica Golf Course. The two teams will back in action together, when they head to Batesville to compete in the Lyon Invitational on Sept. 29th-30th.
