Irving, Texas - Hendrix dropped its league opener in the SCAC to the University of Dallas on Friday night.

Dallas went ahead on 57 minutes, but Madison Lampkin brought the visitors level with a spectacular effort in the 76th minute for her fifth goal of the season. Dallas retook the lead three minutes from time with an attempted cross that instead sneaked its way into the far post.

Other than the two Crusader goals, Kennedy Lewis was not called into action.

The loss drops Hendrix to 2-4-2 (0-1-0 SCAC). They will remain on the road next week as they return to Texas to take on Concordia Texas and Texas Lutheran.
