Brady Earns WBCA NCAA DIII Coaches All-America Honors

ATLANTA (March 19, 2026) - On Thursday, the Women's' Basketball Coaches Association announced the NCAA Division III award winners and All-America teams for the 2025-26 season, with Hendrix's Riley Brady earning All-America honorable mention honors.

This is the second major honor that Brady has received this week after earning a D3hoops.com All-Region first team selection on Monday. The Little Rock native did a clean sweep of the SCAC women's basketball end-of-season awards, winning both Player-of-the-Year and Defensive Player-of-the-Year while also claiming the SCAC's Elite 19 award, which celebrates "the best of the best" in each sport as it relates to academic and athletic achievement.

Brady rewrote the SCAC record book in the rebounding category, breaking the single-season rebound record with 456 boards. She finished second in all of NCAA Division III with 18.2 rebounds per game and was the statistical champion for offensive rebounds, averaging 7.5 per contest and totaling 188 on the year. Brady scored a career-high 38 points against Centenary that also tied a single-game program record and surpassed the 1000-point career milestone against the University of Dallas in the regular season finale.

Brady's individual success translated into one of the best years for Hendrix women's basketball in over decade as the Warriors earned a share of the SCAC Blue Division regular season championship and made an appearance in the SCAC championship game in the program's first year back in the league.

The WBCA NCAA Division III Coach of the Year, Player of the Year and Coaches' All-America team are selected by the WBCA NCAA Division III Awards Committee from coaches and student-athletes who are nominated by WBCA member coaches.
