CONWAY - After earning D3hoops.com All-Region first team honors on Monday,
Riley Brady is now a D3hoops.com All-American, the organization announced on Saturday. The honor puts a bow on one of the most decorated seasons in program history and SCAC history.
Brady becomes the first Warrior to earn D3hoops.com All-American honors since Meg Frazier did so 25 years ago.
Prior to Saturday's announcement, Brady had already been named a WBCA All-American, SCAC Player of the Year, SCAC Defensive Player of the Year, and the SCAC's Elite 19 award winner for women's basketball. Brady was also an All-SCAC first team selection, a five-time SCAC Player of the Week, and selected to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week as well as being named the USBWA National Division III Player of the Week earlier this season.
The junior finished second in all of NCAA Division III with 18.2 rebounds per game and was second in the SCAC in scoring with 17.1 points per game. She was the NCAA's statistical champion in Division III with 7.5 offensive boards per game.
Brady crushed the SCAC's single-season rebounding record with 421 total rebounds and owns the top three SCAC single-game rebound performances with 31, 30, and 29. She also tied the program's single-game scoring record with 38 points versus Centenary back on February 6.
This season, Brady led the Warriors to a share of the SCAC Blue Division regular season championship and helped Hendrix earn a berth in the SCAC championship game in their first season back in the conference.
