CLEBURNE, Texas - On Friday, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference released the All-SCAC baseball teams for the 2026 season, with ten players representing Hendrix on the all-conference teams.
Austin Rabago and
Braxton Waller were both named All-SCAC first team. Rabago was one of the top hitters in the league, hitting above .380 on the year and received three votes in the league's player-of-the-year voting. Waller earned All-SCAC first team as the top relief pitcher in the conference, strikeout out 29 and pitching to a 2.31 ERA in 23.1 innings of work out of the bullpen. Waller currently leads all of NCAA Division III in saves and set the new single-season SCAC saves record with 11.
Aiden Leggett was awarded All-SCAC second team relief pitcher honors for his outstanding campaign out of the bullpen. The senior left-handed pitcher made 13 appearances in relief and pitched to an SCAC-best 1.35 ERA in the regular season. Leggett allowed just 7 earned runs on the year and struck out 46 batters. Hitters hit just .199 off of Leggett, who also picked up five votes in the league's pitcher-of-the-year voting. He ended the year 6-1 in decisions, with his six wins ranking tied for fourth in the league.
