CONWAY - On Tuesday, the American Baseball Coaches Association, in conjunction with Rawlings, released the NCAA Division III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year across all 10 regions. Selections were voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and coordinated by theÂ
ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
Seniors Aiden Leggett and Austin Rabago were among those receiving ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honors for their outstanding 2026 campaigns.
Leggett was one of the top pitchers in the SCAC in 2026 with a league-leading 1.65 earned-run average, which ranked 10th this season in all of NCAA Division III. The left-handed reliever tossed 43.2 innings out of the bullpen in 14 appearances, striking out 46 batters while issuing just 12 walks on the year and recording a staggering 1.03 WHIP. Opposing hitters batted just .210 against the senior, and he finished the year with a 6-1 record on the mound while also recording two saves.
Rabago wrapped up a remarkable four-year career with his first All-Region honor. Rabago started every game in 2026, ending the year sixth in the league in batting average (.378) while leading the program in most statistical categories. The senior slashed .378/.998/.556 with 68 hits, 20 of those being for extra-bases including four home runs. He knocked in a team-high 48 runs and scored 39, which was second-best on the team.
The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first introduced in 2007.
