CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team battled Rhodes College to a 1-1 double overtime tie at Warrior Field on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors wrap up their regular season with a 10-5-3 overall record, the most wins in school history, and a 2-3-2 mark in Southern Athletic Association. Hendrix should be the fourth or fifth seed in next weekend's SAA Tournament in Birmingham, Ala. and will wait for the bracket to be released on Sunday.

Before the game, the Warriors honored six seniors - Kevin Gregory, Tresor Mukiza, Dylan Reed, Connor Silvestri, Rob Weingold, Grant Womack.

The game was scoreless until Silvestri scored on assists from Womack and Reed with 1:27 left in the first half. The Lynx (4-9-1, 1-5-1) tied it up in the 54th minute when Jason Cruther scored on a pass from Josh Bennett.

Rhodes outshot Hendrix 22-20, but the Warriors had a 9-7 advantage in shots on goal. The Lynx had one shot on goal in the first extra period, and the Warriors had two shots in the second overtime.

Freshman goalkeeper Marco Luna registered six saves for Hendrix and Riley Sheen had eight for Rhodes.
