Freshman forward Samantha Lallas opened the scoring just 3:03 into the game, scoring on a pass from sophomore defender Kacey Hight. Senior Mel Roach scored in the 63rd minute, beating Lady Eagle keeper Mary Eoff one-on-one after passes from Lallas and senior midfielder Rebecca Rahn.

Rahn added the final goal 1:12 later on a pass from the left side by Roach.

Hendrix outshot Oarks 16-8 overall and had a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal.

Senior keeper Megan Childress recorded two saves in 64 minutes in front of the goal and combined with freshman Emily Kleinfelter for the shutout win.

MaKenna Piha took five shots for the Lady Eagles, one of which was on goal. Eoff registered six saves.

The Warriors will have little time to rest as they host the University of Texas at Tyler for a noon start on Sunday.
