CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – The Hendrix College men's tennis team dropped their season opener 9-0 at the University of Ozarks on Tuesday.
Senior
Udai Garimella and sophomore
Robert Sheets fell to the Eagles' top doubles tandem of Bishop Bass and Todd Turner 8-2. Senior
Payton Lea and junior Joseph Stepin lost 8-3 to Scott Eibes and Greg Knaggs at number two doubles.
In singles, Sheets lost a 6-3, 6-3 decision to Bass in number one singles. Knaggs defeated Stepina 6-1, 6-1 at the fourth slot and freshman
Atishay Jain lost to Scott Eibes 6-2, 6-0 at the fifth spot.
The Warriors will conclude the fall season on Oct. 3 at Harding University in Searcy, Ark.
