CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College volleyball team won their third match in a row by sweeping Rhodes College 25-22, 25-13, 31-29 at Grove Gymnasium on Wednesday night. With the win, the Warriors improve to 14-9 overall and 5-5 in the Southern Athletic Association, while the Lynx fall to 7-16 and 4-6.
Late in the first set, Hendrix led 22-21 before ending the game with a 3-1 rally. The Warriors registered 18 kills while the Lynx only had 10 in the opener. In set two, Hendrix hit .400 with 11 kills and recorded eight service aces to easily take the set.
The third set featured 11 ties and seven lead changes. The Orange & Black led 24-21 but Rhodes came back to go up 25-24. From there, the teams traded points until it was 29-29 and junior right side
Carson Hunter served an aced, followed by a Lynx error to end the match.
For the match, Hendrix hit .321 with 46 kills, 11 aces, 51 digs and eight blocks. Rhodes hit .238 with 46 kills, two aces, 51 digs and four blocks.

Natalie Masten led the Warriors with a season-best 13 kills and hit .500. Senior outside
Katie Burchfield had her fourth double-double of the year with 10 kills and 10 digs. Freshman middle blocker had seven kills and

Samantha Stockdale led Hendrix at the net with five blocks.
Alexis Krall paced the Lynx with 15 kills and hit .405. Caitlin Grimes had 10 kills and Michelle Quina recorded seven kills, 36 assists and 10 digs. Maraia Tremarelli led Rhodes with 16 digs.
Hendrix will go on the road to face first place Berry on Saturday.
