CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team lost a 3-0 decision to Birmingham-Southern College in Southern Athletic Association play at Warrior Field Saturday night.
The Panthers (9-4-1, 3-1) scored just 1:14 into the game when Dylan Rose found the net on a pass from Brooks Busby. Busby scored int he sixth minute on a Josh Wild assist and Tobias Winter assisted Kristjan Bryde in the 42nd minute.
The Warriors (4-8-2, 0-4) outshot BSC 10-8 and both teams had four shots on goal. Sophomore midfielder
Will Dunaway had two shots on goal, while sophomores
Jacob Pierce and
Steven Cochrun each took one. Freshman forward
Anthony Galick hit the crossbar late in the second half.
Jonas Heidrich had three saves for the Panthers. Junior
Eric Bracy had one for the Warriors.
Hendrix will host Harding University on Monday at 7 p.m.
