DANVILLE, Ky. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team lost 1-0 on the road to Centre College on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Warriors fall to 5-9-3 overall and 1-5 in Southern Athletic Association play. The Colonels improve to 8-4-3 and 2-3-1.
Robbe Tarver scored the only goal of the game on an assist from Jack Gobilrsch in the 49th minute.
Centre had an 18-14 edge in total shots, but Hendrix had more shots on goal 8-5.
Sophomore forward
Will Dunaway took three shots on goal for the Warriors and freshman
Anthony Galick tallied two. Junior
Greg Gandy andd freshmen
Kolton Williams and
Jacob Colbert each took one.
Colonel keeper Ohan Missirian-Dill recorded eight saves in the shutout. Sophomore
Marco Luna had four stops for Hendrix.
Hendrix will wrap up the regular season on Saturday against Rhodes College in Memphis.
