CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's soccer season came to end with a 1-0 loss to Millsaps College in the first round of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament at Warrior Field Friday afternoon.

The eighth-seeded Warriors finish the year 5-11-3, while the top-seeded Majors improve to 11-5-2 and advance to the semi-finals on Saturday.

Millsaps outshot Hendrix 26-7 overall and 9-1 for the game.

Chucky Hayden scored the only goal on an assist from Nico Roth in the 41st minute.

Sophomore midfielder Jacob Pierce took four shots for the Warriors, while junior defender Greg Gandy, sophomore midfielder C.J. Thompson and freshman midfielder Kolton Williams each had one.

In goal, sophomore Marco Luna recorded eight saves for Hendrix. Jonathan Huebbe had one for Millsaps.

Pierce was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Warriors.
