ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Hendrix College men's lacrosse team suffered a 13-4 loss at Augustana College on Friday night. The host Vikings (2-2) led the Warriors (2-4) 6-4 at halftime, but scored seven unanswered goals in the second half.

Cameron Millstone scored on a pass from freshman
Zachary Baier. Millstone assisted Baier's man-up goal to close out the first quarter to give the Warriors a 3-2 lead.
Davis added two more goals and Vincent Giglierano scored to open the second quarter, giving the Vikings a 5-3 lead. Millstone scored with an assist from freshman
Travis Rabun with 4:25 left in the quarter to cut the deficit to one. Giglierano added one more goal before halftime, putting Augustana up 6-4 at the beak. The Vikings added three more goals in the third quarter and four in the fourth.
Millstone led the Warriors with two goals and an assist and 12 ground balls. Baier had two points with a goal and an assist. Rabun registered an assist, five ground balls and two caused turnovers and freshman Taylor Priesler had five ground balls as well. Freshman keeper
Joe Takacs came up with 13 saves.
Davis scored six goals and had an assist to lead the Vikings. Jesse Nagelberg scored three times and Kevin Gleason had two goals and three assists. Ryan Nakamoto led AC with 10 ground balls and keeper Cody Burgdorff recorded eight saves.
For the game, AC outshot Hendrix 46-25 and had a 44-39 ground ball advantage.
Hendrix will stay in Rock Island for a game against Hope College on Saturday.
