CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team opened the Warrior Classic with a 3-1 victory over Centenary College of Louisiana at Warrior Field on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore forward Will Dunaway netted two goals for the host Warriors (2-3-1).

Freshman forward Anthony Galick put Hendrix on the board in the fourth minute with a goal, assisted by junior defender Greg Gandy. Less than two minutes later, Dunway found the net on a pass by freshman defender Spencer Holt.

Hendrix led 2-0 until the 44th minute when Jeremy Klespis scored on a pass from Chris Berrios for the Gents (0-4). Dunaway added another goal with less than five minutes left - this time with the assist going to freshman Ryan Mason.

The Warriors outshot the Gents 21-4 overall and 10-2 on goal. Rylan Whan had six saves for Centenary in the first half and Chase Duet had one in the second. Junior Hendrix keeper Eric Bracy stopped one shot.

Hendrix will wrap up the Classic against UT Tyler on Sunday at 2 p.m.
