CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's soccer team shut down Centenary College of Louisiana 1-0 at Warrior Field on Saturday afternoon. The Warrior (4-2) backfield of junior captain Kacey Hight and freshmen Katie Larson, Kelly Cunningham and Sydney Meyer limited the Ladies (2-3) to just four shots for the game.

Hendrix took 14 shots, including five on goal.

Despite the Warriors getting plenty of chances against the Ladies, the game remained scoreless until the 76th minute when sophomore Sydney King scored on a pass from sophomore Hannah Sigda.

Sophomore keeper Rachel Zweig was in goal for Hendrix, picking up three saves for her second career shutout.

Centenary had shot on goal opportunities from Marissa Hughes, Madison Alexande rand Jackie Argueta.

The Warriors and Ladies will battle again on Sunday at 4 p.m.
