MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team lost 2-1 to the University of Dallas at Rhodes Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Warriors (1-2-1) and the Crusaders (4-0) were tied with 15 shots each, but UD had a 7-5 shots on goal advantage.
Juanh Hernandez-Reyes scored the first goal for Dallas on an assist from Mikhail Castillo in the 25th minute. Just ten seconds before halftime, the Crusaders went up 2-0 on a Matt Wise goal.
Hendrix broke the shutout in the 48th minute when sophomore midfielder
Jacob Pierce scored his fourth goal of the year on a pass from sophomore midfielder
C.J. Thompson.

Eric Bracy had four saves in goal in the first half for the Warriors. Sophomore
Marco Luna came up with one in the second half. P.J. Hasson registered one save for UD in the first half and Tino Gamueda had three saves in the second period.
Hendrix will travel to Clarksville, Ark. to battle the University of the Ozarks on Wednesday.
