CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's lacrosse broke the school record for goals, assists and points as they rolled to a 24-4 victory against the University of Dubuque at Warrior Field Wednesday afternoon.
The Warriors (2-1) scored 24 goals with 18 assists for 42 points. They also took the second most shots (65) and picked up the second most ground balls (69) in program history. Hendrix also caused 17 turnovers and took 42 shots on goal. They were nearly perfect by going 16-of-17 on clear opportunities and were 5-of-8 in extra-man opportunities.
The Warriors built a 9-0 lead on the Sparts (0-1) after the first quarter and expanded the lead to 15-2 at halftime.

Cameron Millstone both tied the school record, already held by Millstone and

Patrick Diamonon had a goal and two assists and freshmen
Jason Blatt and
Alex Ortenstone chipped in a goal each. Sophomores
Travis Rabun and
Joe Takacs both assisted a goal.
Blatt, who won 13 faceoffs, picked up a team-best 12 ground balls. Boone had eight ground balls and Rabun seven. Sophomore defenseman

Dennis O'Hara had two saves in goal during the first quarter. Takacs and freshman
Christian Wheeler each had one save.
Tyson Svoboda and Brandon Smoot each had a goal and an assist for Dubuque. Eric Frank and Chad Whitford also scored. Josh Berey-Wingate won 14 faceoffs and had nine ground balls in the Spartans first ever game as a program.
Hendrix will host Centenary College of Louisiana on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Warrior Soccer Field.
