DANVILLE, Ky. - The Hendrix College men's basketball season came to an end with a 77-62 loss to Birmingham Southern College in the first round of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament on Friday night.
The seventh-seeded Warriors end the year 10-16, while the #2 Panthers advance to the semifinals with a 17-9 record.
The first half saw five lead changes and three ties with BSC leading 29-26 at the break. A free throw by senior forward
Colton Primm with 18:03 left in the game gave Hendrix a 30-29 lead. The Panthers answered with 19-3 run over the next 4:35 to go up by 15 and take control of the game. The Panthers would maintain a double-digit lead for the majority of the rest of the contest.
Hendrix shot 38.1 percent (16-of-42) for the game, 2-of-16 from outside and 28-of-32 at the free throw line. BSC shot 40.7 percent (22-of-54) overall, 4-of-11 from three-point range and 29-of-44 at the stripe.

Hank Aldous paced the Warriors with 18 points and two steals. Primm had 17 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for his eighth double-double of the season. Junior forward

John Ogle scored six.
Larry Thomas led the Panthers with 21 points. Jason Holland added 14 points and four assists and Griffin Schamp recorded 10 points and five rebounds.
The game was the final in Primm's career. The Fayetteville, Ark. product finished 26th in career-scoring at Hendrix with 1,130 points and first with 114 blocked shots.
