CONWAY - Hendrix men's basketball was selected 10th in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's 2026-27 Preseason Poll, the league office announced on Wednesday.

The Warriors earned 9 points in the poll, which was conducted exclusively among the league's ten head coaches.

Hendrix returns all five starters and several key rotation players from last year's team, including Holden Plant and Kyle Roach, who both averaged over 11 points per game in 2025-26. Sophomore Charles Hatchett led the SCAC with 43 blocks.

Anthony Boone enters into his third season in charge of the Warriors men's basketball program and will guide Hendrix through their second year back in the SCAC.

Hendrix will tip off the 2026-27 season at Grove Gymnasium on November 7 as they host in-state foe Lyon College. Conference play begins the second week of December when the Warriors host the University of St. Thomas and Colorado College on December 11-12.
