CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College baseball team defeated Ecclesia College 7-2 at Warrior Field for the Warriors' (8-7) third consecutive win.
The visiting Royals (7-10) picked up two runs off of sophomore starter brian Commerford in an inning plus, but the Warrior bullpen allowed just two hits and three walks over the final eight frames. Freshmen

Daniel Imbro each threw two innings of scoreless relief. Lovvorn (1-1), who fanned one batter, earned the win.
Senior center fielder
Collin Radack tirpled to lead off the bottom of the first and scored on a sac fly from junior first baseman
Ryan Ritz. The triple was the 11th of Radack's career, tying him for the program record with Jeff Forgerson (2008-11).
Trailing 2-1 in the middle of the second, Hendrix gained the lead for go with a four-run inning on four hits and an error. Radack doubled in the frame, tying him for the Warrior career hits record at 207 with Clark Sims (2009-12).
An error and two hits gave Hendrix a 6-2 advantage in the fourth. Ritz, who extended his hitting streak to 11 games, singled in the eighth and later scored on a base hit from sophomore catcher
Zane Heather for the final run of the contest.
Ritz went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI. Radack had a double, triple and two runs scored. Junior designated hitter
Brady Newville and freshman second baseman
James Martin also had two hits a piece.
Catcher Osvald Rosas led Ecclesia with a pair of hits. Gerry Sifuentes recorded a double.
Guy Halbert took the loss, giving up nine hits, six runs one walk and three strikeouts in 3.1 innings.
Hendrix will return to Southern Athletic Association play at Birmingham-Southern College on Friday night.
