Junior Bob Berardi

CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's tennis team lost to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor 8-1 at the Hendrix Tennis Courts on Friday afternoon.

The Warriors (1-6) won their only point in number one doubles, when junior tandem Bob Berardi and Robert Sheets defeated Collin Davies and Scott Wilding 8-3. The Cru (3-1) won number two doubles with John Martin and Tevin Ogo topping freshmen Karthik Garimella and Ian McVinney 9-7.

In singles, Sheets fell in the first flight to Wilding 6-2, 6-3. Garimella lost to Martin 6-3, 6-3 in number three singles and Davies defeated McVinney 6-3, 6-4.

Hendrix will return to Southern Athletic Association play at Birmingham-Southern College on Mar. 29.
