CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College baseball team lost 7-5 to the University of the Ozarks at Warrior Field on Tuesday night.
The Warriors (8-11) took a 1-0 lead in the first when senior center fielder
Collin Radack led off with a double, moved to third on a
Ryan Ritz ground out and scored on a base hit from junior right fielder
Matt Simmons.
Two hits and two errors led to a pair of runs in the third, giving Hendrix a 3-0 advantage. Left fielder

Thomas Weber both drove in runs during the inning.
The Eagles (7-10) took advantage of two hits and an error to gain a 4-3 lead in the top of the fourth. They also added a run in the fifth and two in the sixth to go up 7-3.
The Warriors added two runs in the bottom of the ninth when junior second baseman
Brady Newville was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Radack had an infield single, scoring Weber.
Radack went 3-for-6 with two steals, two runs, a RBI and a double to lead Hendrix at the plate. Weber and junior catcher
Seth Mobley also had two hits.
Second baseman Taylor Parker led Ozarks by going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI and a double.
Andrew Beck (1-1) earned the win for the Eagles, giving up eight hits, two earned runs, one walk and three strikeouts over five innings. Freddy Prince struck out three and allowed one hit to earn the save. Freshman lefty starter
Colten Poellinger (0-1) took the loss, giving up three hits, four runs and four walks with one strikeout.
Hendrix will host Millsaps in a double-header on Saturday.
