CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's lacrosse produced a dominating performance, defeating Oglethorpe University 23-5 at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Warriors improve to 7-5 overall and 3-0 in Southern Athletic Association play. The Stormy Petrels drop to 1-7 and 0-3.
Hendrix set a new school record with 22 faceoffs won (out of 32) and tied for the second most goals (23) and points (35). In the process, the Warriors broke the program season marks for points (229), goals (155) and assists (84).
For the game, Hendrix outshot OU 56-25 overall and 35-17 on goal. The Orange & Black held a 54-27 ground balls advantage and were 15-of-19 on clears, while the Petrels went 14-of-28.

Cameron Millstone, who was honored before the game, led the way with five goals and three assists. Freshman attacker

Jason Blatt won 13-of-17 faceoffs, scored twice and assisted another and had a game-best seven ground balls. Freshman
TK Shaffer also had two goals and an assist. Freshman defenseman
Ben Cunningham caused two turnovers. Freshman keeper
Christian Wheeler came up with seven saves and allowed just one goal in 23 minutes in front of the net.
Arness Holsey led OU with two gals. Eric Seymour picked up six ground balls and caused three turnovers. Cooper O'Brien stopped 12 shots in goal.
Hendrix will look to remain unbeated in conference when they host Berry College at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
