CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's lacrosse team lost 12-10 to Illinois Wesleyan University at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.
The Warriors (4-3) held a 9-8 lead headed into the fourth quarter, but the visiting Titans (2-0) outscored the home team 4-1 in the final period.
IWU outshot Hendrix 37-35, but the Orange & Black had a 23-19 on goal advantage. Both teams picked up 23 ground balls and split the 26 faceoff chances with 13 each. The Titans took advantage of the power play, going 3-for-7 on extra-man chances, while the Warriors were 0-2. Hendrix did score two man-down goals. Hendrix had 17 turnovers, compared to 16 for IWU.
Senior midfielder
Cameron Millstone led the Warriors with four goals and one assist. The St. Louis, Mo. native took 14 shots, 11 on goal. Freshman attacker

Tayler Rauwolf led the Titans with four goals and three assists. Tim Smith scored three times and Michael Julius had two goals and two assists. Max Porter had eight ground balls and Steven Laduzinsky had 13 saves.
Hendrix will travel to Montgomery, Ala. to face Huntingdon College on Saturday.
