Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team lost a 2-1 decision to Washington and Lee University in the final game of the Sewanee Labor Day Classic on Sunday afternoon.
The Warriors (0-1-1) were outshot 17-8 by the Generals (2-0) and 6-2 on goal. W&L also had a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Sam Knapke gave the Generals a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute with an unassisted goal. Hendrix senior midfielder
Joe Esrock tied the game in the 52nd minute with an assist from sophomore
Ryan Stanowski.
Andrew Kim recorded the game-winner for W&L in the 57th minute.

Brian Banuelos took a shot on goal for the Warriors in the first half.

Eric Bracy had four saves for the Orange & Black.
The Warriors will return to action on Saturday when they face Huntingdon College at the Rhodes Greg Volgas Memorial in Memphis, Tenn.
