MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Belhaven University on the final day of the Greg Volgas Memorial hosted by Rhodes College on Sunday.

The Blazers (2-1) outshot the Warriors (0-3-1) 22-3 overall and 9-0 on goal.

BU took a 1-0 lead on a Victor France unassisted goal in the 35th minute. France assisted Jose Presti's score in the 43rd minute for the final goal of the contest.

Sophomore forward Ryan Mason managed two shots and junior midfielder Jacob Pierce took one for Hendrix. Senior Eric Bracy had two saves in goal in the first half. Freshman Nathan Myers stopped five shots in a scoreless second half in his collegiate debut.

Hendrix will host Williams Baptist College at 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
