CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's tennis team fell 9-0 to Southern Athletic Association rival Birmingham-Southern College on Saturday afternoon at the Hatcher Tennis Complex.

In doubles play, Robert Sheets and Bob Berardi fell at the top flight by the score of 8-3. Ian McVinney teamed with Kiran Chakka at second doubles but fell to BSC 8-5. Daniel Habenicht made his season debut in the doubles lineup at the third flight with Kristian Lenser but the duo fell 8-5.

In singles play, Sheets was the only Warrior to earn a set win, forcing BSC's Alex Makarenko to a third set, but the senior ultimately fell 7-5, 3-6, 6-3. Ilya Pound also made his season debut for the Warriors at sixth singles but fell in straight sets.

Hendrix will return to action on Sunday when they host Millsaps College in their final home match of the regular season.
