CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's tennis team opened the spring portion of their 2015-16 schedule with a 9-0 loss to preeminent NCAA Division II power Harding University at the Hatcher Tennis Center Tuesday evening.
It was the first loss of the year for the Warriors (2-1), and the season-opener for the Bisons (1-0), who are ranked 10th in the Division II Central Region.
Harding won a straight set in number one and three doubles. Warrior #2 tandem of junior

Kristian Lenser lost to Neto Cacace and Adrian Torrico 8-2.
In singles, Hendrix junior
Ian McVinney fell to Carlos Crisostomo, the #16 player in the Central Region in DII, 6-1, 6-1 in top flight. In number two singles, Garimella lost to Torrico, ranked #11, 6-1, 6-1 as well.
Lenser had the best showing, falling to Cacace 6-2, 6-1 in number three singles. At the fifth spot, HU's Brandon Hogland topped freshman
Luke Lefler 6-1, 6-1.
Hendrix will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
