Warriors Fall to #26 Tigers

CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's tennis team lost to #26 Sewanee - The University of the South in Southern Athletic Association action at the Hatcher Tennis Center on Saturday.

The visiting Tigers (9-5, 2-0) took all three doubles matches to start. The Warriors (5-6, 0-2) closest match in singles came at number four where sophomore Kiran Chakka lost 6-1, 6-3 to Scott Gallimore. Junior Ian McVinney was defeated by Avery Schober 6-1, 6-2 in the top matchup. Sophomore Kristian Lenser fell to Davis Owen 6-2, 6-1 in number three singles.

Hendrix will play their final home match of the season Sunday against SAA foe Centre College.
