MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College men's tennis team lost 9-0 to Covenant College in Memphis, Tenn. Saturday night.

The Scots (3-3) won all three doubles matches to start. The Warrior (1-5) sophomore duo of Daniel Sweeney and Henry Dana lost to Connor Shimmel and Trey Wood 8-4 at the third spot.

In singles, junior Daniel Habenicht fell to Wood in a third-set tiebreaker, 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-5) at number four. Senior Karthik Garimella lost to Chris Cox 6-0, 7-5 in the top flight. Junior Kristian Lenser lost to Micah Fox 6-2, 6-4 in number three singles.

Hendrix will take on Rhodes in a Southern Athletic Association match Sunday at 9 a.m. then play Christian Brothers University at 2 p.m.
