MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College men's tennis team wrapped up their three-match trip to Memphis with a 7-0 loss to NCAA Division II Christian Brothers University Sunday afternoon.
In number one doubles, seniors
Karthik Garimella and
Ian McVinney for the Warriors (1-7) was edged by the Buccaneers' (6-5) Javier Saez and Daniel D'Alto 8-6.
At number six singles, sophomore
Daniel Sweeney lost in a third-set tiebreaker to Max Wilson 6-2, 3-6, 10-8. Junior
Daniel Habenicht lost to Abel Kim 6-1, 6-4 in the fifth spot.
Hendrix will be back in action on Friday when they host Blue Mountain College at 5 p.m.
