CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's tennis team lost a Southern Athletic Association match to Birmingham-Southern College 9-0 Saturday morning.
The Panthers (5-4, 1-1), who are ranked 15th in the Atlantic South Region swept through doubles, then topped the Warriors (3-8, 0-2) in each of the singles contests.
In number two doubles, senior
Karthik Garimella and junior
Daniel Habenicht lost to George Chunn and Alex Makarenko 8-3.
Garimella fell to Weinacker, ranked #24 in the region, 6-3, 6-3 in the top singles match. Habenicht lost to Chunn 6-3, 6-2 at number four.
Hendrix will host SAA rival Millsaps College Sunday at 9 a.m.
