Box Score ATLANTA, Ga. - Hendrix took on a tough 8-2-0 Oglethorpe team Saturday that finished the regular season as the 2018 Southern Athletic Association champions. The Warriors trailed by one at the break and ultimately fell 3-0 to the Petrels from Atlanta, Ga. Sophomore Josh Neuman carded six saves in 45 minutes of action while freshman Aaron Sahlmann landed three stops in 45 minutes of action. Following the game, the Warriors' 2018 season has come to an end.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Oglethorpe took a 2-0 lead into the break, the Petrels scored in the first five seconds of the second half to take a 3-0 lead and eventually a 3-0 victory over 44 minutes later. 
- Sophomore Jack Butler had the lone shot and lone shot on goal for the Warriors on the day.
- Hendrix obtained one corner kick while the Petrels recorded 14.
- Oglethorpe registered one save while the Warriors carded nine total stops.

"Oglethorpe is an outstanding team and I believe that they are one of the top NCAA Division III programs in the country," stated Head Coach Matt Kern. "The play a great brand of soccer, have athleticism, great tactical awareness and are competitively mature. We will continue to recruit, as well as develop our current group to improve our standing in the SAA for 2019. We will miss our four graduating seniors as they have been great leaders in our program."
