Conway, AR - The Hendrix College men's tennis team took on the Golden Eagles of John Brown Friday evening, in a home match-up. The Golden Eagles grabbed an early lead in the doubles competition and they would ultimately defeat the Warriors 5-1.

Hendrix struggled in the doubles portion of the match but would get their first victory in #1 singles. Kristian Lenser defeated JBU opponent 6-2, 6-4.

Unfortunately for Hendrix the Warriors couldn't capitalize on their momentum gained from the singles win as John Brown took the next two singles matches for the 5-1 victory.

The Warriors will not have much time off as they prepare to take on the Eagles of Ozarks on Saturday, February 17th at 1:00 pm.
