ROANOKE, Va. - For the fourth-straight year, a Hendrix Football senior will participate in the Dream Bowl, an all-star showcase event that is composed of NCAA FCS, D-II and D-III star seniors and also serves as an excellent exposure chance. Cole Stanton has been named to the Patriots Roster for the Dream Bowl event.
The Dream Bowl, as well as other scheduled social events, will be held over Martin Luther King weekend and will serve as a celebration of excellence, commitment and sacrifice made by the athletes and their families. The Dream Bowl treats the athletes to first-class accommodations, meals and facilities during the weekend-long event.
In the eight years of existence of this event, the Dream Bowl has had over 100 players play professional football after participating in this event. Scouts of all levels of professional football are expected to be in the stands.
Notable Hendrix Football alumni to participate in this game includes Seth Peters,
Nate Hodapp and Dayton Winn; all three players have went on to play professional football overseas. Hendrix 2015 graduate Casey Caton caught the game-winning touchdown in the showcase event three years ago.
