Box Score CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix battled the Austin College Roos for the second time in less than a Week Saturday afternoon inside Grove Gymnasium. After falling to the Roos Sunday in overtime from Sherman, Texas, the Warriors looked to defeat AC Saturday night for the first time since Nov. 26, 2016. After holding a two-point edge at the break, 41-39, Hendrix outscored the Roos 48-40 in the second half as Hendrix hung on for the huge non-conference win Saturday evening in front of a stellar crowd. Seth Stanley eclipsed the 30-point plateau yet again after pouring in 31 points on 11-of-19 shooting (64.7 percent) with a game-high five assists while only playing 28 minutes.. With the win, Hendrix improves to 2-3 on the year while the Roos hold a 3-1 record after losing its first game of the year Saturday.

OF NOTE
- Austin College scored the first seven points of the game to hold the 7-0 lead two minutes into the game but a 12-5 Warrior run tied the game up at 12 after a layup by Carl Fitch with 15:31 to go in the first half.
- A three-pointer by Sean Coman with 13:37 to go in the first half put Hendrix up two, 15-13.
- Back-to-back Roo dunks forced a Hendrix timeout as AC enjoyed a six-point lead, 27-21 but a 10-2 Warrior run late in the first half gave Hendrix the 41-39 edge at the break.
- AC grabbed the 43-41 lead early in the second half but back-to-back three pointers by Coman gave Hendrix the 47-43 advantage with  17 minutes left in regulation.
- Leading by one point, 74-73, with 4:32 to go, the Warriors quickly embarked on an 11-1 run; all thanks to Stanley as the sophomore drained two three pointers, converted an and-one and showcased one incredible dunk as the Warriors held off the Roos, 89-79.

BOX SCORE NOTABLE
- 20 of Stanley's 31 points came in the second half as the sophomore shot 7-of-9 from the floor, 2-for-3 from deep and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe in the final 20 minutes.
- Coman finished with 19 points; 14 of which came in the second half as well after shooting 5-of-5 from the floor including 4-for-4 from three-point territory.
- Jacob Link scored 11 of his 18 points in the first half as the senior recorded a game-high eight rebounds and four assists.
- Fitch accounted for 13 points and four boards while shooting a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor in 34 minutes of action.
- The 10-point win Saturday was the largest win against AC since Jan. 27, 2007 (91-72; 19-point win in Sherman, Texas).
