Box Score CONWAY, Ark. – Hendrix opened up the 2019-20 season in exhibition fashion Thursday night across town inside the Farris Center against Division I foe Central Arkansas. After scoring 11 points in the opening 20 minutes of action, the Warriors scored 40 in the second half but ultimately fell to the UCA Bears, 71-51, inside the Farris Center Thursday evening.
Seth Stanley nearly carded a double-double in 32 minutes of action; recording a game-high 16 points and eight boards. With the game being played as an exhibition game, Hendrix still sustains a 0-0 record while UCA improves to 1-1 on the season.

- The Warriors led 5-0 two minutes into the game after Stanley connected from deep and
Sean Coman made a tough, fade away shot.
- The Bears recorded a 15-3 run midway through the opening half to take a 15-8 lead with 7:36 left.
- UCA scored the final five points of the first half in the final 4:19 to take a 25-11 lead into the break
- Two three-pointers by
Jacob Link and one from Coman in the first six minutes of the second half brought the Warriors within eight points, 34-26.
- Stanley recorded a 5-0 run all by himself with 8:29 left in regulation but Hendrix trailed by 14 or more points for the rest of the game as the Warriors fell, 71-51, to the NCAA Division I Central Arkansas Bears Thursday night.
BOX SCORE NOTABLE
- Stanley finished 4-for-15 shooting with a 6-of-10 mark at the free throw line while collecting one offensive rebound and seven defensive ones.

Carl Fitch and Coman added seven points apiece and combined for eight rebounds while Fitch accounted for three blocks as well.
- Link registered six points and four rebounds with a team-best three assists against the Bears Thursday.

Alex Conrad shot 2-of-6 from the floor for five points and also collected seven rebounds in 15 minutes while
Grayson Allen added four points in his first collegiate game of his young career with one rebound.
- The Warriors' defense limited UCA to shoot just 5-for-20 from deep (25 percent) while also forcing 12 Bear turnovers.

The Warriors come back home for the first time this season for its home opener versus Baptist Bible College from Grove Gymnasium Saturday at 3 p.m.
