JACKSON, Miss. – After taking down the Majors twice Saturday and climbing into a two-way tie atop the Southern Athletic Association baseball standings, Hendrix faced Millsaps one final time from Jackson, Miss. looking for the huge series sweep.
Seth Tucker gave the Warriors the early 1-0 lead in the third inning while Hendrix recorded its seventh shutout of the season after defeating Millsaps 5-0 Sunday for the three-game series sweep.
Evan Ingram registered his 10th appearance on the season; tossing seven innings of work and striking out four en route to picking up his fourth win of the year; joining
Kyle Wellman with the team-high four victories on the mound. With the win, Hendrix improves to 22-7 on the season and 9-3 in SAA action while Millsaps drops to 5-21 including 2-9 in conference action. In addition to picking up the win, after the 10-run Berry loss to Birmingham-Southern, Hendrix takes sole-possession of first place in the SAA baseball standings; one game ahead of the Vikings and two games ahead of Rhodes and the Panthers.

NOTABLE:
- After a Millsaps error in the third inning, Tucker scored to put Hendrix up 1-0 early.
- The Warriors added a pair of runs in the seventh and eighth innings to defeat Millsaps 5-0 Sunday.
- Ingram retired 13 of the first 15 Majors in his second straight start that resulted in picking up a win in a decision and third total win in two weeks.
- Tucker batted 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run in the win against the Majors.
- Cooper collected two of Hendrix's nine hits Sunday while also getting walked once.
- Stoyanow recorded a 1-for-4 mark at the plate with an RBI and a couple of runs scored in the five-run victory.

- With the win, Hendrix obtains its 22nd victory of the season and sits alone in first place in the SAA standings in Head Coach
Sean McSheffery's first season as the head coach.

WHO'S NEXT:
After winning its fifth game in a row, Hendrix returns back to Conway for its final game against University of the Ozarks. The Warriors will go for the series sweep against the Eagles Tuesday at 6 p.m.
